Browne and Price, P.A. was founded in Milledgeville GA by attorneys Douglas Lee Price and Leo A Browne Jr. (deceased) in 1995. As is common in small towns, the law firm was devoted to half general practice and half real estate through relationships with local community banks, realtors, timber companies, manufactured housing dealers, and mortgage companies. Unlike many large real estate closing law firms, Browne and Price, P.A. still maintains an active general practice through key co-counsel relationships. Real Estate Paralegal Bunny Harris Conine has been with Browne and Price, P.A. for 19 years and overall has 35 years of real estate experience.

Everything changed when the real estate market crashed in 2008. The economic crisis that ensued was particularly hard on the rural economies. Many smaller practices gave up and quit doing real estate but instead, Browne and Price, P.A. expanded outside of Milledgeville bringing the small town, personal touch with them.

Today Browne and Price, P.A. has closing offices in Sparta (Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit Location), Covington, Athens, and East Point/SW Atlanta as well as relationships around the state. Each office has its own private office and conference room, fax, email and copy capabilities, and a dedicated paralegal who maintains direct contact with the main business office in Winder in order to guarantee a smooth closing experience for all parties.
